From the Real to the Surreal

Do you see beyond the lens?  Frame, re-frame, view askew and  manipulate images to bridge the gap between dream imaginings and what’s returned from the camera?  Geometrics, color patterns, form, repetition and  even message can be found when we allow ourselves to see things anew,  and imagine.

I’m Deanne Goodwin. As a lifelong photographer, artist, arranger and consummate dreamer, I can’t help but look for ways to take already interesting images beyond the realm of first impression, to reveal a dream or vision beneath the surface.

As you know, when we’re still, a deeper world emerges – in both the animate and the inanimate.  In my straight from the camera shots as well as my digital photo-art, I like to capture and emphazise those moments  and elements. From Real to Surreal, I hope you find  images on the Morphing Dreams site that make you want to linger.  And, I’d love to see your surreal dream images.  Send me a note below to share information. To avoid the spam-catcher thinking you’re a bad guy, send only one or two links at a time.

Have a good dream,

∞ deanne
